Subject:These are the original pictures with the theme of HOPE, made to commemorate the children we lost as a result of the earthquake that took place in İzmir on October 30, 2020, to raise awareness of the earthquake among the students and to improve the level of consciousness. “HOPE is the future, it is longing, it is maturity, it is naturalness, it is purity, it is virtue.”

Awards

In the Painting Contest organized by YUVA within the scope of “I Have a Letter to Hope”, the First, Second and Third Prizes will be announced by the Selection Committee as a result of the evaluation of the participating works. The awards to be given to the winning works are as follows:

7-10 Age Group Awards
1st Prize: Android Tablet and Painter set (Desktopeasel, canvas, palette, brush and acrylic paint set)
2nd Prize: Art Bag (64 piece paint set bag) and Painter set (Desktopeasel, canvas, palette, brush and acrylic paint set)
3rd Prize: Painting Bag (38 piece paint kit bag) and Painter set (Desktop)easel, canvas, palette, brush and acrylic paint set)
4th Prize: Painter set (Desktop easel, canvas, palette, brush and acrylic paint set)
5th Prize: Painter set (Desktop easel, canvas, palette, brush and acrylic paint set)

Conditions of Participation

1. The competition is open to the participation of children aged 7-10, except the Selective jury members, YUVA employees and their first-degree relatives.

2. Participation in the competition is free.

3. The works submitted to the competition must not have participated in any competition before or have not been published anywhere.

4. The participants of the competition undertake that the work is completely original and belongs to them.

5. Each competitor can participate in the competition with a maximum of one (1) work.

6. The pictures participating in the competition will be in A3 (29.7 x 42 cm) or A4 (29.7 x 21 cm) size. Paper can be used horizontally or vertically. There is no limitation on paint, the technique is free.

7. Personal information about the student or school cannot be written on the front of the pictures participating in the competition.

8. The photographs of the pictures participating in the competition should be taken on a flat surface, covering the entire screen, in daylight and without flash. Photographs taken under artificial light will not be considered.

9. The participation form must be filled in completely and without errors by the legal guardian of the child, and a signed clear photograph must be taken and sent online (yuva@yureklereumut.org) together with the photograph of the work and the child's identity card.

10. not meeting these conditionsand works submitted after the deadlinewill not be considered.

11. The works participating in the competition can be used partially or completely in all written and printed works of YUVA. No rights can be claimed from the publication of the works submitted to the competition in print or on the internet.

12. Pictures participating in the competition must be carefully preserved. The winning works will then be delivered to YUVA by cargo. The owner of the work is responsible for the undelivered works, and the awards will not be delivered to the owner of the work.

13. The printed versions of the winning works should be packed in such a way that they will not be damaged in cargo or mail, and they should be shipped to YUVA Head Office (Çınarlı Mahallesi 1583/2 Sokak No:2 B/Block Floor:1 Bureau:130 Konak/İzmir) WITH PAYMENT OF THE SHIPPER.

14. The winning works can be exhibited in the painting exhibition titled “Rainbow Colors on My Brush, There is HOPE in My Tomorrow” within the quota. 

15. Our child who deserves the first prize will be entitled to be a member of the Jury in the next painting competition to be organized by YUVA.

16. A special thank you certificate will be issued to all children participating in the competition by YUVA and will be sent digitally.

17. When the parent of the author signs the application form, it is deemed to have accepted the conditions written in this specification, which is considered an integral part of the application form.

Participants in the competition will be deemed to have accepted the conditions of the competition and the decisions of the selection committee in advance. The Selection Committee will act as an arbitrator in matters not specified in the specification or in disputes that may arise between the participant and YUVA in case of hesitation. In case of disagreement, the Selection Committee is authorized.

Conditions of Participation

1. The competition is open to the participation of children aged 11-14, excluding the Selective jury members, YUVA employees and their first-degree relatives.

2. Participation in the competition is free.

3. The works submitted to the competition must not have participated in any competition before or have not been published anywhere.

4. The participants of the competition undertake that the work is completely original and belongs to them.

5. Each competitor can participate in the competition with a maximum of one (1) work.

6. The works to be sent to the competition will be written on the computer in word format, A4 paper size, Times New Roman font, 12 points with 1.5 line spacing, and page margins of 2.5 cm.

7. Compositions will be sent by saving in *pdf file format in the above format conditions.

8. The works to be sent to the competition will not exceed three pages.

9. The name and surname of the participant will not be written on the work.

10. The participation form must be filled in completely and without errors by the legal guardian of the child, and a signed clear photograph must be taken and sent online (yuva@yureklereumut.org) together with the photograph of the work and the child's identity card.

11. Works that do not meet these conditions and are sent after the deadline will not be evaluated.

12. The works participating in the competition can be used partially or completely in all written and printed works of YUVA. No rights can be claimed from the publication of the works submitted to the competition in print or on the internet.

13. Our child who deserves the first prize will be entitled to be a member of the Jury in the next essay competition to be organized by YUVA.

14. The winning works will be included in the book called “HOPE Books” within the quota. 

15. When the parent of the author signs the application form, it is deemed to have accepted the conditions written in this specification, which is considered an integral part of the application form.
