Give HOPE with Scholarship

We feel deeply what happened in the earthquake that affected Kahramanmaraş and the surrounding provinces. We wish mercy to our citizens who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to the injured.

We have been in constant contact with our team and volunteers who have been on the field since the second day of the earthquake. We carry out our work sensitively at the point of delivering humanitarian aid to those in real need.

We would like to inform you, our valuable donors, that we will do our part after this sad earthquake, and that we will be hope for our university students with a sustainable planning, and thank you for your valuable support and interest.

Who from this scholarshipcan benefit?

University-level students who meet the following criteria will be eligible for this scholarship:

Those who have lost their mother/father in the disaster,
Those whose family's residence is moderately / heavily damaged (It is required to be certified by the municipality or e-government. Those who have a house in other provinces outside the earthquake zone will not be able to benefit from this fund.)
The workplaces where the parents work are Medium / Severely Damaged (It is required to be documented from the municipality or e-government.)
Those whose family resides in the earthquake zone and whose parents are civil servants, whose total income does not exceed 30,000,00 TL,
Only one university level student per family can apply.

When are the scholarship application deadlines?

Scholarship applications will start on 13 March 2023 and end on 02 April 2023.

How to apply for a scholarship?

As of March 13, 2023, all documents must be sent to the e-mail address yuva@yureklereumut.org.

What are the documents required for the "A HOPE" Scholarship Application?

✔ YUVA Scholarship Application Form (from the website) download to be filled)

✔ Commitment (from website downloaded and filled to be signed)

✔ Student certificate (E-government/E-school)

✔ Criminal record of the mother and father (from the e-government, the names must be visible)

✔ Deed information inquiry list screen of mother and father (Names should be visible from e-government)

✔ If the student is over the age of 18, Criminal Record Registration (from e-government)

✔ Fully registered birth certificate showing the whole family (from e-government)

✔ Official Document Showing the Damage Status of the Residence (Municipality/E-government)

✔ Residence information of the student or his/her family living in the damaged house (from e-government)

✔ SGK registration and service breakdown/workplace title list for those whose workplaces were demolished (from e-government)

How long can the student benefit from the scholarship?

"A HOPE" Scholarship is valid until the end of the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

All documents required for the normal scholarship application for the 2024-25 academic year and beyond will be requested from the student again and the student will be evaluated for the normal scholarship, and if he is a student who meets the normal scholarship evaluation criteria, the scholarship will continue.

How much is the monthly scholarship amount to be paid?

Under the scope of "A HOPE" Scholarship to earthquake-affected university students 800 TL per monthwill be given.

Scholarships will be paid regularly every month, starting from the month the student applies, until June 2024. There will be no breaks in July and August. (Total maximum 15 months)
